The timeslot for a standard talk is 15 minutes including the discussion. Thus, your contribution should not exceed 12 minutes, to allow some time for questions.
Presentations should be saved in Power Point (PPT or PPTX) or PDF format, and uploaded at least half a day before the talk to the presentation computer. Please, name the presentation file by your surname, without any special characters (e.g., presentation of Petr Juračka et al. should be named “JURACKA.PPT”).
A remote-control for presentations with a laser pointer will be available but you will be able also to use mouse and keyboard if preferred. In case you have special requirements (e.g., want to use your own computer), contact the organizers in advance.
Contributions presented as poster will not be neglected! Posters will be displayed in the lecture hall throughout the whole meeting. There will be two sufficiently long poster session, and there is a good chance that if your poster is attractive enough, everyone will have a look.
Posters should not exceed the A0 dimensions in portrait orientation (width × height: 84 × 119 cm, or 33.1 in × 46.8 in), and should be set up in their place as soon as possible (ideally, on Sunday afternoon/evening after the registration). The first poster session will take place already on Monday afternoon!
All poster presenters will have a chance to highlight their work in front of the whole audience in a short advertisement talk before the respective poster session. This talk should not try to repeat the content of the poster or show all results, rather to stimulate the curiosity of the audience. The associated presentation should not exceed 3 slides and 1.5 min in length. For all poster presenters, the presentation file should be provided on Sunday at the latest (may be sent in advance by e-mail, or uploaded after the registration).
All talks and posters by student participants will be evaluated by a committee for both content and originality of the research, and quality of the presentation. Best three talks and posters will be announced on Thursday evening during the social dinner and awarded.
